Welcome to Rwanda Learn. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our platform. These terms govern your access to and use of rwandalearn.com and all associated services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rwanda Learn platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users, including students, teachers, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Rwanda Learn provides an online marketplace connecting students with tutors for live, one-on-one and group lessons. We also provide a study materials marketplace where teachers can sell revision resources. We are not a party to any lesson agreement between students and teachers.

3. User Accounts

You must register for an account to access most features of our platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Teacher Obligations

Teachers who apply to the platform must provide accurate qualification and identity information. Rwanda Learn reserves the right to verify credentials and reject or suspend any teacher account. Teachers agree to deliver lessons as booked and maintain professional standards at all times.

5. Payments and Fees

Lesson and material payments are processed through our secure platform. Rwanda Learn charges a service fee on each transaction. Teachers receive payouts to their Rwanda Learn wallet and may withdraw to a Rwandan bank account. All prices are displayed in Rwandan Franc (RWF).

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Students may cancel a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a partial fee. Study material purchases are non-refundable once the file has been downloaded. Contact support within 24 hours for disputed transactions.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others; share inappropriate or illegal content; attempt to circumvent our payment system by conducting transactions outside the platform; impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications; or violate any applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Rwanda Learn or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. Study materials uploaded by teachers remain the intellectual property of the respective teachers.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rwanda Learn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
