Welcome to Rwanda Learn. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Rwanda Learn.
By accessing or using Rwanda Learn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
Rwanda Learn is an online marketplace that connects students and tutors for live, one-on-one and group lessons. We also provide a digital marketplace for study materials. Rwanda Learn acts as a facilitator and is not a party to the direct agreement between students and tutors.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Rwanda Learn. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully at all times.
Approved teachers agree to deliver lessons as scheduled, maintain professional conduct, and provide accurate qualification information. Rwanda Learn may suspend or terminate any teacher account that violates these obligations or our community standards.
All lesson and material payments are processed through our secure payment system in Rwandan Franc (RWF). Rwanda Learn deducts a platform service fee from each transaction. Teachers may withdraw their earnings to a Rwandan bank account after meeting the minimum withdrawal threshold.
Students may cancel a booked lesson up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson start time may incur a partial fee. Digital study materials are non-refundable once downloaded. Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of the lesson.
Users must not: harass, threaten, or harm other users; post illegal, offensive, or misleading content; attempt to bypass the platform's payment system; impersonate another person; or violate any applicable laws. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
All platform content — including design, text, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Rwanda Learn. Study materials uploaded by teachers remain the intellectual property of those teachers. You may not reproduce or redistribute platform content without express written permission.
Rwanda Learn provides the platform on an 'as-is' basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that lessons will meet all your expectations. We are not responsible for the content, conduct, or outcomes of individual lessons.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rwanda Learn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the three months prior to the claim.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rwanda.
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
